Metal end fitting It must be perfectly fitted, being free from the defects such as leakage and disconnection.  
Quality
The brake hose shall comply with the following general conditions.
(1) To have high flexibility
(2) To be free from defects such as flaws, air bladders, etc.....
(3) To be symmetrical in the inside diameter, thickness of hose, thickness of the outer and inner rubber layers.
(4) Metal fitting and hose shall be connected firmly so that no defect such as leakage and pulling off from the fitting shall occur during the use.
(5) To be free from dust and other substances on the inner surface.
(6) No defects shall be caused by brake fluid.
 
Inside diameter after swaging the fitting Over 2.1 mm(0.08 in.)  
Performance Fluid resistance No remarkable expansion nor other unusual change on the rubber surface.  
Expansion of inside volume Max 0.79 cc at 105 kgf/cm2(1,500 psi) and 305 mm(1 ft) of free length. SEIKEN

Indication of test Manufacturer's name or its designation and manufacturing year and month or its designation shall be indicated on the metal fitting.
