Dakar Rally Rider Shinya Fujiwara
Meiji Sangyo Company (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinya Takeuchi) has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Shinya Fujiwara, who aims to compete in the 2027 Dakar Rally (Motorcycle Category), as part of promotional activities for the Seiken brand.

The Dakar Rally is the world's premier rally raid competition held annually in Saudi Arabia, often referred to as "the world's toughest race." Taking place over approximately two weeks in extreme environments such as deserts and rocky terrain, it tests all facets of capabilities, including rider skill, mental strength, and machine durability.
Shinya Fujiwara was born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1990. He began trial riding at the age of seven, won the Domestic A-Class Series Championship at age 16, and claimed the International A-Class Series Championship in 2014. Since then, he has expanded his focus to hard enduro and overseas rallies, continuously pursuing his challenge in the Dakar Rally, the pinnacle of rally raid racing.
For many years, the Seiken brand has pursued high quality, high durability, and reliability, primarily focusing on brake parts and suspension parts. As the Dakar Rally, contested in extreme environments, shares a strong affinity with Seiken's core values of "Safety," "Durability," and "Reliability," the company decided to sponsor Mr. Fujiwara.
Furthermore, Seiken supplies products to more than 80 countries worldwide. Through this sponsorship, the company aims to raise brand awareness in overseas markets and communicate the value of the Seiken brand to customers globally.
Moving forward, Meiji Sangyo will support Mr. Fujiwara's challenge by releasing information ahead of the 2027 Dakar Rally and providing activity reports during the event, while continuously communicating the appeal of the Seiken brand.
